Webinar: Launch of the Copper Fair Work Monitor Report

Copper powers our world – but at what cost?

Sign up now

As Black Friday and Cyber Monday approach, global demand for electronics and infrastructure surges. Copper is essential for these technologies. Yet, behind the screens and cables lies a complex reality. Workers and communities in copper-producing regions face significant challenges related to safety, fair wages, and environmental impact.

Sign up now and join us for the official launch of the Fair Work Monitor on Copper in Peru. Peru is a major player in global copper production. It is the world’s third-largest producer of mined copper, behind Chile and the Democratic Republic of Congo and it holds the second-largest copper reserves worldwide.

We will share key insights into working conditions in the copper supply chain. Together, we will explore how companies, unions, and consumers can drive change.

We present this report within the framework of the International RBC Agreement for the Renewable Energy Sector. We aim to strengthen efforts and invite companies to participate in creating a collective action plan for fair and sustainable mineral supply chains.
